About the only really good thing in this game is Autosculpt, something not even Forza 1 and 2 have - Forza 3 features unknown at the date of this rant, uh, review. This allows for an unbelieveably huge amount of customization and this idea should be in more racing games, not just the Need for Speed franchise.
Need for Speed Carbon Review. Review scoring. EA's Need for Speed series still has the pedal to the floor with its latest release, Need for Speed Carbon, launching alongside the PlayStation 3's
Conclusion 7/10 its what I give this game “NFS Carbon” because it’s just racing in the end but good racing indeed, at that note with different types of races (My favourite being the speed trap). Maybe if in the next need for speed you could get out of your car and kick some butt over a race would make the game so much more WICKED
Need for Speed Carbon QHD Video Pack. Get rid of those awful SD quality videos from the PC version of Need for Speed Carbon! 2022 in Review - Mods, Stats, and Hats.
Need for Speed: Carbon, while definitely having a lot of elements that make it feel like a giant joke compared to the rest of the series, is still the last good Need for Speed game. Being a fan of Need for Speed on consoles that seemed the right choice for the hand held to. Comparing Need for speed carbon on wii to the ds version would seem stupid, but im going to do it any way. EA have tried to make the games similar to each other by using the same cars, music and game play but thats all the similarities.
It's far from perfect and to be honest after 2 hours I was bored with the game. Online adds a little more to the package but the main game is short. I think my main problem is that compared to this year’s best racing game, Test Drive Unlimited, Need for Speed: Carbon just doesn't hold a candle to it.
It was impressing to see and play. Cars looked good and the night looks superb with some of its neon colours. Violence is vehicular and in 'busted' scenes. You often bump rivals to win as they sometimes crash into other cars. Busted scenes are ruthless as the cops hurt the driver as he resists arrest. Crude humour and mild trash talk is often
The answer is that while Need for Speed: Carbon does have some drawbacks, it is a fun game. Explanation of Scoring: I give the game a base score, which is given by gameplay, and then I tack on any modifiers for anytihng I feel is worthy of note, whether it be positive or negative.
